A strong focus has been placed on material choices, exploring their aesthetic, cultural, atmospheric qualities and values and the way they are used and combined, becoming parts of the regenerative system.

When specifying materials its important to have an understand of how that material has come to be and the processes involved that accumulative to a projects total embodied carbon. Having this awareness allows for design decisions to be made to reduce negative environmental impact.
