To unlock the potential of the site, we have engaged with material explorations (‘Scratch’) at local and micro scales. Based on the idea of RECIPROCITY, we have studied regenerative materials, testing how they can connect to and affect the site (particular element, structure, organism etc.), exploring how their properties and potentials can begin to set design parameters for the project, and how the materials can be affected and transformed by the site.
